Razvan Negoita


Razvan Negoita was born in Romania into a family of musicians, he starts the violin at 6 years old with his father.

Very quickly, he is noticed for his talent and at a very young age he gets the "First Prize" Diplome on Violin and Chamber Music from the "G.Rossini" Conservatory (Italy).

 

Since 2000 he takes classes with Pavel Vernikov, Igor Volochine and Boris Belkin, and also some Masterclasses with M.Martin, O.Charlier and K.Sahatci.

 

In 2000-2001 he plays in the Teatro alla Scala Academy and performs as Concertmaster of the Academy Orchestra.

 

He enters as Concertmaster of the "L.Cherubini" Youth Orchestra under the direction of Riccardo Muti, he also starts an intense collaboration with many prestigious orchestras, as Teatro alla Scala, Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Orchestre Philharmonique de Montecarlo, Wiener Symphoniker.

 

From 2002 to 2004 he is a member of the "Filarmonica Toscanini" under the baton of Lorin Maazel.

From 2004 to 2013 he works as Leader of the Second Violins at the "Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice" in France.

 

He leads an intense Chamber Music activity with famous musicians like Robert McDuffie, Larry Dutton, Andrea Bacchetti, Francesco Manara, Danilo Rossi, Nicolas Bringuier.

 

He worked also as a guest Leader or Sub Leader in many orchestras and theaters (Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, Maggio musicale Fiorentino, Orchestra

Toscanini, Opera de Toulon, Orchestre Philharmonique de Montecarlo).

 

His current position is Co-Leader of the Second Violins of the Bruckner Orchester Linz under the direction of Markus Poschner.

He plays on a wonderful violin made by N.Gagliano.
