Shushanik Aleksanyan-Frühwirt
Shushanik Aleksanyan-Frühwirt was born in 1983 in Yerevan/Armenia. Always interested in music since childhood, she started at 6 to study violin with Petros Haykazyan in "P.I.Tchaikovski" Music School -Yerevan. Love for music has always been taking an important place in her life, and she performed on national and international stages.
With 14 she played as Soloist with the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra.
Her musical education continued at the "Komitas" Conservatory in Yerevan in the class of Eduard Tadevosyan.
In 2004 she changed country and came to Vienna to study at the University for Music and Performing Arts, in the class of Isidora Schwarzberg-Romanoff and from 2006 with Christian Altenburger, with whom she absolved in 2011 the "Magistra Artium" Diplom with Distinction.
She played as Assistant Leader and Leader of 1st Violins at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival from 2004 to 2007, with artists like Cristoph Eschenbach, Valery Gergiev, Lotar Zagrosek and Michael Güttler, as well as she perfomed as a Soloist in the same Festival in 2007.
In 2006 she performed as Leader at the "Sommerfestspiele" opera projekt in the Schönbrunn Castle, and she was also awarded at the "Allegro Vivo" Music Academy.
She is founding member of the "ASAG" Quartett Wien, with whom she performed in several countries in Europe, Asia and America.
She took also several masterclasses with artists such as Tibor Varga, Peter Schumayer (Artis Quartett), Hubert Kroisamer (Wiener Philharmoniker).
At the Vienna University for Music and Performing Arts she took also the "dr. Robert and Lina Thyll-Dörr" Scholarship. She performed as well in 2007-2008 as Soloist and for the Chamber Music concerts in the "Jeunesse" music season.
From 2009 she is a fix member of the Bruckner Orchester Linz.
